1st Birthday

Happy 1st Birthday Madison. We cannot believe how fast time has gone by and how big she has gotten. She celebrated with family and loved every minute because she loves to be the center of attention. She was spoiled with presents from everyone. We are blessed to be surrounded by all those we love and who love us. It was a perfect party. She definitely loved the frosting more than the cake. She stands up and is going to walk any day now. We love you and love to watch you grow.

Jenn's Birthday

I had a great birthday!!! It started on Saturday with a facial - aaahhhhh!!! And then surprised that afternoon with a sleep machine (yes you read that right - no more fans - Jason actually found a sleep machine that replicates a constant white noise) and my favorite Apple pie caramel apples from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and "silky" pajamas. We then dropped the kids off at granny/nanas and headed to the mouth-watering Flemings for dinner. I could drink the butter caber neigh sauce not to mention living on the jalapeño potatoes. Every good meal is complete when followed with crème brulee. After dinner we went to "27 Dresses" - Jason made the sacrificed for my birthday. He did point out that there was only 3 other guys in the theatre. My final gift was that night - a full nights sleep uninterrupted in my own bed thanks to my parents and in-laws taking the kids overnight. Jason was warned before we went to bed and he let me sleep until noon on Sunday. It was awesome! We finished the weekend meeting up with the kids at the weekly Sunday dinner at Tripps. Thanks to all those involved in making my birthday the best ever!!!!!!!!!!

Look at me. I am cool!

Madison started walking with her toy. She thought she was the bomb. She just kept going back and forth from kitchen to family room. If she got stuck or ran into something she would just pull it one handed. She could totally walk by herself if she just dared.

New Years in Vegas

We stayed in Las Vegas with Nana and Pa over New Years 2008. Unfortunately the only pics I have is bowling. We had a great time. The pool was heated so of course the kids loved swimming in January. We rang in the New Year by watching the fireworks from a parking lot and they were amazing. Great times as long as you stayed off the strip.
