Were it all Started

We went to join camping, attend the Manti Pageant and pick-up our kids from Nana and Pa at the Palisades camp ground. On our way home we stopped by Snow College to give the kids a mini tour of where their parents lived (individually :), met, and studied. Not sure how interested they were but it was fun for Jason and I to reminisce.

These three monkey's are due to Snow College
This pic was in our wedding video - Spring 1996

We haven't changed at all :)

Swine flu??

Yes, we got the Swine Flu (unconfirmed due to not testing unless hospitalized). Jaiden was really sick and didn't move off the couch for 3 days even with round the clock Motrin. I finally took her into the doctor and they tested her for influenza and it was positive. They recommended getting her on Tamaflu and I went straight to the pharmacy. Little did I know how rapid it was spreading that 4 pharmacies were out and I finally found some at the Wal-mart. She started to feel better Friday and was able to perform in her dance recital on Saturday. Unfortunately Madison woke up Saturday morning with a fever = a trip to the doctor to be tested for influenza - positive. I was already at the recital and had to stay for backstage. Daddy had to hold down the fort and take kids to the doctor. Not to mention tend Hannah because she also had Swine and her parents needed to go watch Brinlee in the recital. Pa then took over so Jason could go watch the recital. Not great timing to be sick. All in all it wasn't as bad as we had anticipated.

Madison

Yes she dressed herself (swimsuit/boots) and we even went to Walmart in that lovely ensemble. When we got home she decided to ride her scooter and safety first - helmet needed to complete the outfit.

Madison came downstairs and said to me "I monkey" and this is the face she pulled.

Here she is perfecting the "monkey" face after doing her own hair in the bathroom

This is what I found in the bathroom - barbie getting a bath with full bottle of shampoo -Love the girl :)
But I am cute!!

And I help put away laundry with my brother.

Madison Memories ...

Madison came up from the playroom with high heels, sunglasses, purse and said, "I mobie darer (movie star)."

We were at an extended family party for Savanna's birthday and Chris' father came and sat next to me on the couch. Madison ran up to me and sat on my lap. As she was sitting towards me she grabbed both of my breasts and said, "boobs." I thought Chris' dad was going to die and I am sure I was red. Least to say he moved to a different seat.

Every time someone gets off the phone she asks, "Who dat?"

She tells her brother, "Peese ... don't"

She tells Jason, "Daddy ... chase... me" - she seems to always take a breath between every word

Madison is deathly scared of items blowing in the wind. She is not afraid of blowing away but she hates when items blow. The other day we had to leave a baseball game because she was screaming uncontrollably due to a napkin out on the field blowing in the wind. Look-out!
