Carter graduated from Miss Shelley's preschool. He has learned a lot. All his letters, colors, numbers through 25 and his phone number. We were worried because Jaiden already knew a lot going into pre-school and just went for the social aspect but Carter has held his own and is a great friend to all and hasn't had a problem learning.

During the ceremony each student told what they wanted to be and Carter said a policeman so he could work with Logan (his friend) who is going to be a fireman.

Happy Mothers Day

I loved celebrating Mother's Day the same weekend as Jaiden's baptism. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's day present - thanks Jaiden. It was a great day. I love being a mom and am greatful to have such wonderful kids. Bonus was we had lots of roses from the baptism and mothers day - they were beautiful.

Jaiden's Baptism

Jaiden decided to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was baptised on May 9, 2009. We were very proud of her choice and the example she is to those around her. We were blessed to be surrounded by those who love her and our family. The spirit was strong and our testimonies were strengthened by being present at her special event.
WE LOVE YOU JAIDEN

She is a wonderful big sister.

Baptism Photo Shoot

I wanted to have some pictures to display at Jaiden's baptism luncheon so I took her down to the Jordan River Temple for a "mini" photo shoot. Nana had requested to start a tradition of providing the baptism outfits for her grandkids, therefore mom was left out of the decision and Nana and Jaiden agreed on a dress. I think they did a great job, but it was definetly fancy. When Jason viewed the pictures we took at the temple I think he got a little view into the future and didn't enjoy it. His first comment was, "Is she getting married or baptised??"
I do think she will make a beautiful bride someday - hopefully in about 18 years :) to someone as wonderful as her dad.

Philly ..

Jason traveled to Philadelphia on business and while there got to visit some historical sites. He said it was amazing the history that is there. Of course when he got home we had to watch the President Adams series by HBO that reflects on all the history. Very interesting.
