Zumba, Zumba, Zumba!!!

I traveled to Houston, TX to attend a Zumba workshop and become a certified Zumba instructor. You ask what is Zumba? It is a latin style workout. Really fun and I have never sweat so much in my life. I will start teaching Zumba this summer at UDA. I definitely need to work on my stamina.

Hollywood here I come.

Thanks to the support of Grandmas and Jason, I was able to travel with UDA (dance studio I teach at) to Hollywood, CA to attend classes at Edge Performing Arts Center.

While in LA we attended "Wicked". It was amazing. My favorite Broadway show yet.

We stayed at Sunset Plaza in the heart of Sunset Strip. The weather was beautiful along with the grounds.

Madison was so proud of her new t-shirt that she kept rubbing her belly to show it off.

We love Madison!

Madison broke into the bathroom and learned to stand on the stool. Now she has a whole new world to destroy up on the counter.

What good hygiene except for the fact the toothbrush is Jaiden's.

Always willing to help with the dishes. We have to keep the dishwasher locked because she can stick her little fingers in the side and pry it open.
It is only a matter of time before she figures out the lock.

I was asking Jason, "Why do we always seem to have so many dirty sipper cups?"

Then we turned around and noticed the crew on the couch.

It gave us the answer :)

Made Me Laugh

I came downstairs to find Carter and Brinlee in full costume.

It made me laugh and I grabbed the camera.

Teeth coming and going ...

"TW" (toothless wonder) is in the house.

After a lot of drama and Nana's quick fingers Jaiden lost her other front tooth.

Sleeping Beauty

Jason (courtesy of mom) gave Jaiden a sleeping mask as a prize after returning from out of town. She was so excited and said she has always wanted one. She walked around with it all night and really did wear it to bed. We couldn't resist taking a picture of her once she was asleep.

What is one thing you hope to accomplish this year? To recognise the spirit/inspiration in my daily life and exercise regularly.

How long have you been married? 12 years in June - yikes!

How long did you date? Met in September. Knew we were going to get married in Nov/Dec. Booked temple in Feb. Jason finally got the guts and told his parents in March and we got engaged on I think the 14th.

Who eats more sweets? Not sure we both like them.

Who said I love you first? This is sad to say but I cannot remember. I asked Jason and he can't either. I will have to check some journals.

How old is he? I had to ask him - 33 going on 34 in April. Yee-haw!

Who is taller? Well my nickname is short-stuff.

Who is smarter? I will have to go with Mel on this "Depends on the topic. We both have our strong and weak points!"

Who pays the bills? He does. Yes it scares me but I have to let it go.

Who mows the lawn? Like Mel I didn't have brothers so have mowed a few lawns in my time but it is under his duties. Sometimes I will if he is busy or the kids want to play outside.

Who cooks dinner? Anything besides cheese toast and cheese eggs has come from me. He is a pro at the cheese eggs - better than me.

Who asked who out? I think he asked me out to a movie.
