Aahh!Aahh!Aahh!

No one can eat or drink around Madison without hearing aahh, aahh, aahh and constantly sharing your food and drink with her. It drives us crazy.

Her drink of choice is unfortunately Mountain Dew.

A Mothers Hands

Is this what you think of when you hear "a mother's hands"? This was a particular fun day that included putting Carter's chain on his bike 3 times until I told him it was broken, cutting my finger in the kitchen, 4 outfits for Madison, and not to mention Jason was out of town. Why is my house always a wreck???

Madison loves purses.

Madison loves to carry anything that resembles a purse. Yes it scares us!!!

Check out my teeth.

Do you think I will sleep through the night when they all come in???

Is it Spring???

Madison had her first day outside. She was running, screaming and following the kids on bikes. She loved being "big" and playing outside. If your wondering about the white shoes they are Jaiden's old Easter shoes. They were the only "real shoes" that I had in her size. Guess we will be going shopping.

Help me!!!

We heard Madison yelling "aaaaahhhhhh" and we couldn't find her. The yelling was coming from Carter's bedroom and we find her locked in the dog kennel. We laugh and call Carter to come here. He comes in laughing and totally admits he locked her in. Sorry "Mautin". I am sure it is not the last time your brother will cause you trouble.

Shop till you drop

The girls & Carter went shopping and Madison would not put down this jacket. She cried/screamed if she was not holding the hanger. Jaiden of course talked me into buying her a satin purse. Luckily it was only a buck. We thought Jaiden was bad. Look out!!!

Boys Only!

Carter wanted to have the twins "punks" sleep over for his birthday. The boys all requested a nerf gun fight. I am not sure who enjoyed it more the kids or the guys.
Carter blowing the smoke off his gun.

Jason, Conner and Carter are team one.

Adam and Nate are team two.

Brotherly love.

Look at that smile - I think he enjoys this game.

Carter is 4 years old

Carter started the day off depressed because he knew it was party day and he had to give up his binkies. He was so sad all morning that we told him he could wait until Monday - his real birthday. We are lucky to have so many family members living near. We miss spending time with those who don't.
Carter has inhereted the "cat" smile. Thanks uncle Adam.
Who would have known he wanted a missionary bank? Thanks nana & pa for getting the money saving started.
Never knew an "indiana hat" cowboy hat could make him smile that big.

Missing a tooth on top.

Jaiden lost her first tooth on top. It was just hanging but she wouldn't get rid of it. Nana grabbed a hold of it and Jaiden pulled her head back and the tooth stayed with Nana. Jaiden was in shock that it didn't hurt.

Happy Valentines Day!

We had a great valentines. Of course the kids were spoiled by great grandparents, grandparents, and both of us. Daddy is always thoughtful and gets all the girls flowers. Carter got cheetos and nerds rope in luau of flowers. My favorite part was getting a wireless mouse from Jason but unfortunately for him I already had one. He asked, "why don't I see you use it?" The funny thing was he was with me when I bought it. After present exchange we left the kids for dinner and a movie with friends. We also continued Valentines on Saturday and ate at Melting Pot. Ooooohhh that cheese dip!!!

Madison goes Fishing!!!

Madison enjoys fishing however it is always in the toilet. We have caught her several times with different items dropping them in the toilet then retrieving them. What a fun game. The game got ugly this week when she was found with Mom's cell phone. The precious phone was rushed to a drying station (blow dryer) and mom did her best to revive it. Luckily after 24hours in critical condition it survived. THANK GOODNESS!!!

Mini Cheerleader

Last weekend Jaiden performed with the Taylorsville Mini Cheer leader. She is such a little performer. She was so excited to take the classes that she never once complained. She took 2 hours of classes Tues-Friday last week and she was so excited to take the classes that she didn’t ever complain going to Cheerleading even on Friday after already having 2 hours of dance classes. She is actually really talented and has a great memory.

Madison is now walking all by herself. She even stands from a sitting position without help. The walking speed is also increasing. What a big girl.

Mother of the Year

You can all give up because I am going to win "mother of the year" award. With all the snow we received I made a snow hill for sledding. Not only did I make a hill but I didn’t sacrifice safety. I placed pvc pipe at the top to keep the sled from falling to the driveway and also carved steps in the snow. It was worth the time because the kids would spend hours out there and the neighborhood can thank me as well.

Snow Day

We got a ton of snow. We rushed to get ready for church because we had the prayer assignment in sacrament. Of course we were running late due to shoveling the driveway to get the car out. Jason grabbed Jaiden and put the car in 4 wheel and headed out of the neighborhood. He was supposed to come back for the rest of us but as he pulled out I noticed two mini-vans stuck in the street in front of our house and then the phone rang. Church was cancelled due to the snow and not being able to get out of the neighborhood unless you have 4 wheel. We spent the rest of the day shoveling and preparing for the super bowl. It was actually a good game.

Hannah Montana

Jaiden and I attending the Hannah Montana 3D movie with a group of our friends. It was really fun. I wish the music was louder in the theater to give the feel of a real concert but overall it was still fun to hang out together.

President Hinkley

Jaiden and I were able to attend President Hinkley's viewing on Thursday. We were able to have the spirtual experience of winding through the conference center until we came upon our beloved prophet. Jaiden was really moved by the whole experience. Thanks to Nana watching Carter and Madison we were able to spend the day at temple square together. It was an experience I will never forget and reminded me that I know the church is true and the spirit was felt by both of us that day. Jason was able to meet us for dinner at the Garden and we also attended the Joseph Smith movie that evening. Jaiden had several questions and it was nice to give her our full attention. I attended President Kimball's viewing when I was Jaiden's age and it was one of the best memories of my childhood. Hope it will be the same for Jaiden. What a wonderful day!!!
