Happy Halloween!

We had our annual Halloween Party at Granny's the Sunday before halloween. It is fun for all the cousins to see eachother.

(Of course Madison was having a breakdown and would not stay in the pic without me.)

The Tripp kiddies.

The girl crew after the school parade.

They are all in the same 2nd grade class.

(Ellie, Lauren, Hannah, and Jaiden)

Carter (Indiana Jones) is ready to head off to his Halloween Party at preschool. Love the stance bud.

After preschool we all headed to Daddy's work for another Halloween Party. Madison (Tinkie -Winkie Teletubbie) and Carter (India Jones) are enjoying thier chips. The kids got a ton of candy and played games together. (A full family pic will be added as soon as I get it from his work)

Primary Program

We had our annual primary program last Sunday. It was Carter's 1st and of course right before the primary was going to go up Carter looked over with concern and a bloody nose. We took him to the bathroom and it was a pretty bad one. It took a while for it to stop but luckily he made it back in right before his part. He is our handsome "devil" in his sports coat and khakis. He actual requested a suit to be like daddy. Carter was such a good boy even when the girl next to him started "bugging." He just told her to leave him alone and ignored him. He always seems to be good and never really joins in on what the other kids are doing.Jaiden of course did great. She memorized her part all by herself and was always the first one standing when the chorister did her hand gestures. She doesn't seem to really get into the singing but was a good girl and didn't talk to her neighbors.

Pumpkin Carving ...

Aunt Melanie and Jaiden digging out the "guts".

Carter and Daddy digging out the "guts." (nice inappropriate hand gesture - daddy)

Pa and Madison chilling on the couch reading books.

Carter's finished product - The Skull.

Jaiden's finished product - Lion face from Wizard of OZ.

Madison's finished product thanks to Mommy - BOO.

Inspired by her favorite game to play "boo" when putting on her shirt.

We had a fun time carving but next time I hope that the pumpkins are not as thick or that we remember the dremel to make it easier.

Face Painting ...

I came upstairs to find that some face painting had taken place. Carter looked guilty but I was laughing and Madison didn't seem to mind. That is until I tried to take her picture.
